MultiWork LLC ("MultiWork," "we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to information collected through our website at https://www.multiworkllc.com, our SMS communications, our phone services, and our staffing and recruitment operations.

1. Who We Are

MultiWork LLC is a skilled trades staffing and recruitment agency based in Durham, North Carolina. We connect skilled workers — HVAC technicians, electricians, plumbers, pipefitters, welders, insulators, sheetmetal workers, general labor, and similar trades — with employers throughout the construction and industrial sectors.

2. Information We Collect

From Job Applicants and Workers: When you apply for work through our "Find a Job" form, our recruiters, or any other channel, we collect:

Identity information: full name, date of birth (when required for employment verification)

Contact information: phone number, email address, mailing address, city, state, and ZIP code

Employment information: work history, certifications, trade specialties, OSHA training, availability, references

Documents required for employment: government-issued ID, work authorization, certifications and licenses

Communication records: messages, calls, and SMS exchanges with our team

From Clients (Companies Seeking Staffing): When you contact us through our "Find Talent" form or directly to request staffing services, we collect:

Identity and contact information: name, job title, company name, email, phone (if provided)

Project information: project type, location, scope, timing, required trades and skills, headcount

Communication records related to project planning and ongoing engagements

Automatically Collected: When you visit our website, we may collect technical information such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and referring URL through cookies and similar technologies, used to operate the site and improve its performance.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

Match qualified workers with available positions

Process and manage job applications

Communicate with applicants and workers about job opportunities, interviews, assignments, and onboarding paperwork

Communicate with clients about project requirements, candidate proposals, and ongoing engagements

Administer payroll, benefits, and tax reporting for placed workers

Comply with legal obligations including I-9 employment eligibility verification, equal employment opportunity reporting, tax withholding, and applicable wage and hour laws

Send service-related text (SMS) messages — see Section 4 below

Improve our services and operations

4. SMS / Text Messaging Communications

When you provide your mobile phone number to us — through our website, by phone, in person, or via any other means — and consent to receive text messages, you may receive SMS communications from MultiWork LLC. The categories of SMS messages we send include:

Application status updates: confirmation that we received your application; updates on next steps

Interview and appointment reminders: date, time, and location for interviews, drug screens, orientations, or onboarding meetings

Document submission requests: reminders to upload or submit certifications, ID, work authorization, or signed paperwork

Job assignment notifications: new assignment offers, schedule changes, jobsite information, and timesheet reminders

Account and payroll notifications: direct deposit confirmation, missing-information alerts, and other administrative updates

Two-way support replies: responses to questions you initiate by texting our number

Frequency. Message frequency varies based on your engagement with us and active assignments. There is no fixed cap.

Costs. Standard message and data rates from your wireless carrier may apply. MultiWork does not charge for the messages themselves.

Opt-in. You consent to receive SMS communications from MultiWork by:

Providing your phone number on our website application form and checking the SMS-consent checkbox before submitting; or

Replying YES or START to a confirmation message after you initiate an inbound text to our number; or

Providing verbal consent during a phone conversation with our staff (timestamped in our internal records).

Opt-out. You can stop receiving SMS messages from us at any time by replying STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, END, CANCEL, or QUIT to any message. We will send a one-time confirmation that you have been unsubscribed and will not message you again unless you opt back in.

No third-party marketing. We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number, the contents of your SMS communications with us, or any related data with third parties for their marketing purposes.

5. How We Share Your Information

We share information only as needed to operate our staffing services, and only as described below. We do not sell your personal information.

With clients (employers). When we propose you for an open position, we share your résumé, qualifications, and contact information with the prospective client. We do not share your information with clients you have not been matched to.

With service providers. We use third-party providers for payroll processing, background checks, drug screening, electronic signature, communications infrastructure (including SMS delivery via our service provider eCloud Solutions LLC and the underlying telecommunications carrier Telnyx LLC), website hosting, and CRM. These providers are contractually limited to using your information only for services we engage them to perform.

For legal reasons. We may disclose information to comply with subpoenas, court orders, regulatory requests, or applicable law; to enforce our agreements; or to protect the rights, safety, or property of MultiWork, our workers, our clients, or others.

In a business transaction. If MultiWork is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction subject to standard confidentiality protections.

6. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is fully secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide our services and as required by employment, tax, and other applicable laws. Worker employment records are typically retained for the period required by federal and state law (generally three to seven years, depending on the document type), and longer where dictated by tax or workers' compensation rules.

8. Your Rights and Choices

You may request to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, subject to legal and recordkeeping limitations. To make a request, contact us using the information in Section 12.

If you are a resident of a state with specific privacy rights (for example, California, Virginia, or Colorado residents under their respective privacy statutes), you may have additional rights, including the right to opt out of certain types of processing. We will honor those rights as required by law.

9. Children

Our services are intended for adults aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18. If you believe we have collected information from a minor, please contact us and we will delete it.

10. Cookies and Tracking

We use essential cookies to operate the site. We do not currently use advertising cookies or sell browsing data to advertisers. You may control cookies through your browser settings.
